Welcome to Pavilion Athletics! Home of the Golden Gophers! The Pavilion Athletic Program operates under the foundation that athletics are a vital part of the entire educational process. Athletic programs teach student-athletes values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, respect and cooperation. It is our hope that these values learned in Pavilion's Athletic Program stay with our athletes for a lifetime. The goal of this athletic web page is to improve communication among all stakeholders of the Pavilion Athletic Program.

  • Pavilion Central School offers 35 teams in 13 sports (including varsity, junior varsity, and modified programs).

  • The Golden Gophers have earned 27 Section V Team Championships, 2 State Runner-Ups, and 1 New York State Championship in school history.

  • Many of our teams also have been recognized for their team grade point average through the NYSPHSAA "Team Scholar-Athlete" program.
